Queens Boulevard (the musical)

Charles Mee (Playwright, September 15, 1938). has written Big Love, True Love, First Love, bobrauschenbergamerica, Hotel Cassiopeia, Orestes 2.0, Trojan Women 2.0, Summertime and Wintertime among other plays – all of them available on the internet at www.charlesmee.org. His plays have been performed at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, American Repertory Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop, the Public Theatre, Lincoln Center, the Humana Festival, Steppenwolf, and other places in the United States as well as in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Vienna, Istanbul and elsewhere. Among other awards, he is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award in drama from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. His work is made possible by the support of Jeanne Donovan Fisher and Richard B. Fisher.

Recently he appeared in Aswat: Voices of Palestine at NYTW in conjunction with Nibras. Television appearances include “One Life to Live” and “Law & Order: SVU.” Independent film credits include Layla Is Bad and Santa Claus in Baghdad.

Marcus Doshi, (Lighting Design) Marcus Doshi designs lighting for theatre, opera and dance, as well as collaborating with artists and architects on a wide array of non-theatrical ventures. Recent work includes [I Am] Nobody's Lunch with the Civilians (company member) in the US and Edinburgh; The Skin of our Teeth, directed by Bartlett Sher at Intiman; La Boheme for Boston Lyric Opera; the national tour of Pamina Devi, recently at the Joyce; and Above and Below, an installation by Maya Lin for the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Christal Weatherly(Costume Design) Recent projects include Culture Clash's Zorro In Hell and Orpheus and Eurydice for Human Company. In New York, she has designed costumes for the Acting Company (Jane Eyre), Apparition Off-Broadway LLC (Apparition), and the 2005 Summer Play Festival. Around the country, she has designed for Hartford Stage, The Humana Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, La Jolla Playhouse, The Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Center Theatre Group, Madison Repertory Theatre and the beloved Rainpan 43, among others. Upcoming projects include Doris to Darlene for Playwrights Horizons, Lydia for the Denver Center Theatre Company and Cardenio for A.R.T.
