Application Instructions

To apply, please email completed applications to our Internship Coordinator at internships@signaturetheatre.org with subject line “LAST NAME, FIRST NAME Internship Application.” Please send applications as a single PDF file, in order of the list below. If you choose to submit a letter of recommendation, please ask your recommender to submit it via email, and to include your full name in the subject line (ex, “Recommendation for LAST NAME, FIRST NAME”).  



Applications must include

  • Signature Internship Application Form
  • Cover Letter
  • Resume
  • A Non-Creative Writing Sample of approximately 500-1000 words (required for Artistic and Literary Internships, only)
  • An example of previous editing or film work (required for Digital Media Internships, only)
 

INTERVIEWS

Interviews for internship positions are required. We strongly prefer in-person interviews, but can arrange for phone interviews, if necessary.

When to submit your application

  • Fall Internship applications are accepted from July 1 through August 1 at 6:00pm.
  • Winter/Spring Internship applications are accepted from October 1 through November 1 at 6:00pm.
  • Summer Internship applications are accepted from February 1 through March 1 at 6:00pm.
