Cocktail Reception

Guests mingled in the Main Lobby with artists and the Signature community, while enjoying live music, passed hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails.

Progressive Dinner

Guests then explored our three theatres, while enjoying a progressive dinner, with one course – appetizer, entrée and dessert – served in each location!

Each theatre provided guests with unique entertainment offered by Nellie McKay, the New York Chinese Cultural Center, and an exciting paddle raise hosted by Signature Alumni Brandon Dirden and Crystal Dickinson, and Philip de Pury auctioneer CK Swett to support the groundbreaking Signature Ticket Initiative and Signature’s Internship Program.

Ceremony

Guests returned to the Main Lobby for a ceremony honoring 2012-13 Residency One Playwright David Henry Hwang. The Ceremony included tributes offered by Leigh Silverman, May Adrales, Shannon Lee, John Lithgow, B.D. Wong, Gail Merrifield Papp and Oskar Eustis. Signature commissioned composer Huang Ruo to write a new piece in honor of David and guests enjoyed the premiere performance of this work. The evening closed with remarks from David himself.
