Overview

“SIDE-SPLITTING! Smart and very funny!”

-Terry Teachout, Wall Street Journal

“Hilarious and sexy! Josh Hamilton and Tate Donovan are as funny and in-sync as any comic pairing this side of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones!

-Jeremy Gerard, Bloomberg

“A terrific cast! I laughed my ass off!”

-David Cote, Time Out New York

“Lovably funny and smart!”

-Linda Winer, Newsday

“Heather Burns is pitch perfect! The plum-filled cast... is rounded out with wit and resourcefulness by Anthony Arkin, Halley Feiffer, Kevin Geer, John Pankow and C. J. Wilson!”

-Ben Brantley, New York Times

Two French mercenary knights set out on a quest for relative moral redemption against the classic comic background of late 14th century ecclesiastical politics. A story of friendship, love, noble feats of arms, indiscriminate brutality, the progressive refinement of medieval table manners and the general decline of the chivalric ideal at the onset of the Great Papal Schism of 1378. A new comedy by Kenneth Lonergan.
