Signature Theatre, one of New York’s leading off-Broadway theatres, is seeking a Business Manager.
Responsibilities include responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of the theatre’s financial operations and monthly reconciliations. The Business Manager will supervise and be responsible for all a/p and a/r activity, as well as maintain Balance Sheet schedules. This position will manage the annual audit preparation and coordinate the on-site audit with the outside accounting firm. Assist with company budget process and manage input and reporting in accounting software. Working with the Development staff, prepare grant and project budgets as needed.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Arts Management, and at least 3 years of related experience. An interest in non-profit theatre is a must. Experience with Financial Edge is a plus.
